I think it was a blessed and fun short trip back to Jakarta 2 weeks ago! Got to meet my distant cousins whom i haven't met in yeaaarrss~
and for my family, i really learn to really appreciate, understand and cherish them more.. I'm glad we are pretty close and open to one another. The key is still love.

I really see that love in action is really powerful. Love is sacrifice. Like my Dad is a man with few words sometimes, but he really show love through actions and providing the family, even in feeding a fork of Mango to my mouth! haha! (; My elder brother too, much actions in serving people. Well basically, if you see those parents giving the best for their children luh (: The key is love.

Been really some time since I last touched my blog. haha doubt there are any passer-by also! =/

School has started for about 3 weeks already. Well, i really think this poly education is pretty fast paced uh; not to the point that we got no time for ourselves, just that after a few weeks of school now, we gotta start doing projects and preparing for term test in December. =/

This is going to be my final semester in Poly! What comes next, i don't know! haha, but i trust in Him for the best plan in my life. Time is short i know. Soon i will just reminisce the moments spent in Poly~
But well, after much fun i had in Jakarta last 2 weeks ago, i thank God he get rid of the la-la-land feel in me somehow. I think school can still be fun! I think there should be a reason I look forward to classes and rushing my final MP this time! I believe that it is still possible for a Year 3 to do so much for God in their last sem! it's like a final lap in a run, that you just wanna give your all to make it worthwhile (:

Though sometimes the word "best" seems to be very hard to achieve. But hey, persevere on and hold onnnn! You will go on the right track if you focus your eyes on Him, really! (:

hee lucky my place was not affected.. But well i think i rather took it personally when it happened to my own country, thought i know perhaps japan or taiwan experienced this more than we do.

It's a sign i guess. not only this time but allll the disasters and troubles-

I was just reminded of this phrase and guess what, it's CHIJ Katong Convent's school motto!
Joy affirmed me with this phrase before we moved on together to Tertiary.. that my life lives and should live out according to this motto (perhaps i should have gone to KC last time.hehee).

Looking back, indeed it' an experience. Really get to know my group mates well, they're a bunch of people whom i meet almost everyday, always laugh at me, patience on my slowness at times, and yeah i'm truly glad we pull it off at pr2 (:

i think i've learnt to really be objective and plan my weeks well! Be it group goals, personal growth area, QT, things to do along the week, personal retreat, etc.. We gotta plan well!

And i think the past months, God seems to have been poking me quite a lot on my weaknesses. haha, i think that's the case most of the time..
When God wants you to reach to His plans in your life, or the more you draw closer to God.. the more you see God's power and Grace no matter how sinful you are (: but it's always gooood to be close to the Lord despite knowing your boo-boos in life.yeap.

well.. they are all no more.. as for now luh~ hohoho.
Well SIP has been a blessing in a way or another..glad to have met the boss who is really good, and wise. Indeed some experience i wouldn't get if i'm stuck in the school lab everyday.

heee.. had a pretty stretched week, but we made it through God! (:

Went running with my caregroup last wed.. yes its some time ago already.. and i haven't been exercising for some time mans~ Hee..i ran for about 5 or 6 rounds at the Tamp Stadium..But Chiamin and Denise ran 15 rounds!! ;O mad!

Anyways, i experienced a blackout after the run.. I felt really really tired after the run; and after visiting the ladies, my vision started to blur and my ears got blocked, then slowly i totally lost my vision though i know i opened my eyes widely! I kept telling my girls if i can just sleep away, because i really felt tired mans. i can't even hold the water bottle properly~

Heee.. it somehow reminded me of Paul in the Bible. When God blinded him for a period and then led him to Ananias. That moment, my "Ananias" was my Caregroup! hahaa.yeahs, they prayed for me and i literally regained my vision after the Amen! ((:
how cool is that! Thank God i never fainted! Or else, i may have trauma of running for the rest of my life.

Well, all of us learnt alot through running! How smart and cool God is when he breathed through the Bible to let Paul wrote about running in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 which really picture the whole scene and purpose of persevere to run this race with God! (:

On a side note, NATIONAL DAY is coming! hahaha.

Attended few weeks of vocal class with some of the singers.. and it ended last Friday!
Learnt mostly on the techniques but it's been great, fun and useful.. more for personal awarness, to know what's your singing style and what you need to improve on.
Reminisce the time i was in sec sch choir when we were doing the mi-mi-mi-mi or ma-ma-ma-ma warm ups.lol! xD

Singing requires passion, and learning it is truly a long process~ heheh.(:

I was just in awe on how God reminded me of Moses's life story from the Bible and teachings.. I was very much like him last time when i was a younger believer~ Seriously not eloquent in speech, i doubt God's calling, i was also very reserved and fearful. Many times i do question to confirm whether God really chose me or not man =/ haha.

Well as i grow more in the Lord now.. many years have past~ And i was reminded on the gooood side of Moses.hehe. How he simply desire to have God's presence with him everywhere he goes. In facing Pharaoh the king to let Israelites go.. in standing firm despite having people trying to beat God's miracles like turning the river into blood and all the plagues.. and ultimately, in seperating the sea~ whooo..
God's presence. Is all that Moses need. And me too, i desire to be that humble Moses. For Moses may not make it to step into the promise land but he knows that God cares more on how he live his life, how he run the race (:

Hehe what if we are the living Moses now?
how will we respond to God's calling?
how will we run this race?

Thank God for all the healing!
hehee. Firstly, my Dad who was hospitalised about 3 weeks ago is now much better~
He also has been undergoing medication for his liver problem for yeaaarrss.. But today the doctor said it was all positive already, which means he's healed! yeaaaa.. though he still need to take medications for a few more months, i truly pray that everything will just be gone and for my Dad to be as healthy as a superman! lol. (:

I think God truly stretched my confidence and trust in Him! Not only for me, but for my Mum and brothers too. All we can do is just pray ya know.. well, it was ESS week and it happened on that Thursday =/ my first thinking is... i got no mood to invite! haaa..
but God showed me otherwise. i still choose to give to my best as much as i could. at the same time- yeah, i can just pray man..

The fear of the unknown really brought me to simply pray and trust God in everything. For He is sovereign. For i know this is just a test from God. It's time for me to go the extra mile for my family. It was pretty challenging to do ministry, waking up early for SIP, and at the same time wanting to spend more time with my family. Was pretty tired, that time i just feel like i wanna pon work and just sleep to rest~
But thank God for he is kind and gracious.. many things fall into place. God has been my ultimate strength, and He top it up by sending people into my life to be my encourager.. (:

and oh, my aunt is healed too~ hehe she just went to the eye centre today. I don't exactly know what has been happening luh.. just that there is nothing wrong with her eyes already! hahaha. (:

What will you do if you think you are in a sure-die situation? How do you react to the things around you when everything and all your hopes came crashing down? Would you look sidewards for help first?or downwards...heee..
i think it's time to look upwards.

I love Christ Tomlin's album - See The Morning (: Been repeatedly listening to it. Haha, it's good when i can do data entry in the office while listening to Ipod, worshipping God in my heart. heee~ But i think, i should not do it that often hur.. should communicate with my collegues as well.

I met up with my Buddy Fiona on Thursday for dinner! (: yesss, we went to Parkway Pastamania again! hehehee we always always go there man.. parkway and the pastamania holds many memories for me, us; from the DMMs we had with Joy during East B times, shepherdings, etc.. Parkway~what a place..heheh.
I love meet ups with Fiona, whenever we share our learnings with one another, our burdens and crappy jokes, i know deep down in my heart i got my Buddy serving alongside with me..persevering in this race til the end! Truly i've seen her becoming courageous, faith-filled and passionate! whoo.. you encouraged me alot buddy! Though we are in a different ministry now, i truly thank God for placing you in my life! just a phone call /sms away yeah :DD

While talking to Fiona over the dinner, think God simply reminds me of this..
God is surely, in one point of time, allow / put testings in our lives. To mould us, to prepare us, test our character and trust in Him. It may be painful, it may be hard but it is rewarding. Because whenever we have a breakthrough, it is when God will pour down the harvest and his abundace of blessings upon us. And God will take you higher in your spiritual life (:

It's been a week since i've been out for attachment and i'm facing a little discomfort. =/
I guess i'm really not used with the office work life.. different life stations i guess. Hee..and i think i've been complaining to a lot people about how my attachment is like >.< sorrieeee~

But after today, i guess i wanna stop whining. HAHAHA. i really wanna bring a good spirit back to work and not discourage my group members too.. ahhh at the same time, i hope my job will get more exciting and interesting, other than doing the data entry all the way -.- yup. God i trust you will have your reasons to put me there!~

yeah, just went to eat at Newton with caiman, hweechin & mel on friday.. we also went to the pub called CLINIC at Clarke Quay. hehee. it's the unique hospital-designed pub.. and they serve drinks at the bag to contain blood one eh.. and also at the injections. COOL huh! we never tried those drinks though cuz it's pretty expensive!so we go for simpler drinks instead..hahaha. i'm not a jiu gui~~ lol

plus.give thanks to God for encouraging me through my elder brother!(about 3 weeks ago already) hehe just a simple msn conversation that i had with him and words he shared simply encouraged me a lot..
to be humble.

EASTER SUNDAY was great! :D

i really love the video and short movie production! simple and nice.and the testimony the couple shared touched me alot too~ ahh, i believe it took both of them alot alot of courage to share to so many people that day!all their boo-boos in life, and how they pick up the pieces with the help of God.. they've been a blessing to us.

Well, Easter reminds me of my conversion, which is during Easter too. yup, it means i'm gonna grow one more year older in Christ! :O Everything just past so quickly! I'm back to Spore about 5 days ago and it seems like i've done so many things within these days~

Right now, though i see no or little results in conversion in my Cg.. but yet i'm still joyful(?) haha yeah. i don't think i'm forcing myself to be joyful.. discouragements is always there; but perhaps i know, God's always gracious to us, and maybe we have not given our best yet.or God's timing for us is this coming week!! trust. trust. trust.

Hehe.and i don't need anything for my birthday though. The bestest gift ever is to really see conversions this month!and the followings after~~ :D

On another hand, was sharing that i can be a "super Mum" now. HAHAHA.

been away to Medan with my grandma for Qing Ming Jie..
it's a good experience to see my Dad's hometown, visit the places of my ancestors, and of course- i went to visit the majestic and wonderful Lake Toba! hehee..

I can't express myself with words right now.
but God is good.. i'm just amazed by is wonderful Creation.
Anyway, it's a great getaway time for me. we drove up the mountains and all..

yeah, i went to visit a church on sunday - GBI PRJ, with my childhood bestie. Not bad, at least i get an input of the word yoo.. hehe. (:
Here's a story, we visited one of the shopping malls because she wanted to catch the performance of a young and famous drummer. haha! we waited somewhere around the backstage and there!we approached to take a photo with him. my friend caught him first and so i helped them to take. At that point of time i was not so interested in him and so i never take photo with him.... Ahhh,never know he was really quite a big shot among the Jakrta girls now. LOL. and he really really plays the drums very well. oooohhh what a waste man-

Ooooohhh.. CAMP is in one day's time!!
I don't know this is the how-many camp i have attended in Hope.
This time, i know it's different and gonna be different.. Being involved with so many things, taking up new responsibilities had stretched me to the max! lol. But yes, i'm clinging on to God still so that i won't snap!~ heee

For a moment i forgot how to set camp objectives-
haha, kidding.. i guess this time i will be slightly(?) more hungry for God's presence and touch in this camp! Gees.. don't let God go until He speak to meeee~

This week has been one of the tiring but yet fun week.
every single day i journal, there's always some things that i can give thanks for!

I got myself pretty burned up under the sun at sentosa with jorris and mag! XD
haha but it's a nice time together, was blessed with a nice weather for us to sun tan! HAHAHA/

Great time of catch up with Fiona and Joy! yes, at our all-time favourite place for meeting last time --- Parlway parade Pastamania! haha, i'm blessed by their life stories now..
ever since we parted ways from East B, our previous unit, so many things have changed (: but God's been working in our lives in different ways that we can ever imagine~ whoooo..

And then the first Engit Girls 1 caregroup(:
and oh, i got to know my supervisor and the company i'm going to be attached to when this April Semester starts! gahhh.. pretty looking forward to it. i hope for good working hours, good working environment, and good project. HAHAHA.

i think i'm super stretched! haha. there's also camp decor that needs to be completed. >.<
don know where to start.. alot of things not bought and unsure..
But as i was washing up just now, i felt a nudge in my heart telling me that i have to give my best in this and whatever that i'm doing. because it's worth it. it's simply worth it.

I had my very First Engit Girls 1 Caregroup on Wednesday at my cosy little house. haha.
No special programs or anything, just a normal caregroup (:

Had a simple worship. with simple heart.
yess.. as i was singing Jesus Lover of My Soul, i was reminded of David in the Bible. Before he fought with goliath..thought david was young, but God says he doesn't look at the outward appearance of man, but God looks at the heart.

It's the best time of the year as yet!
I've been waiting and longing for this day to come... and here it is.
The last day of exams for my year 2! :D holidays and freeeedommm here i come~

The feeling's really great! haha. sounds mad but... i'm finally released from all the long hours of mugging.. XD and now i have more time to do many many things! :D
heee.. right after the paper today, i went for lunch with Liling and Caiman..

I was packing my wardrobe just now, started at abt 9.30pm.. and now i'm almost done with it.
Yeah- i was not packing my clothes but my "treasures" that i've kept since i came to Singapore. All those letters, photos, presents, encouragement cards, sermon notes, etc etc..that i've collected thus far.

I was reading through the encouragement cards.. a lot i kept ever since i came to know God.
with people thanking God for my life.. giving me all the Jiayous for O levels and in serving God. (:
all the photos esp that East B prepared for me for my farewell..
i was reflecting, many made me all smiles, and almost moved me to tears too.heee..
Aww man... i can't give thanks enough! (:
All the people that God has placed in my life, He sent as a blessing to keep running in this race. Through it all.. everything shows of God's realness, goodness, sovereignty and faithfulness! (:

As i look back n reflected on my 2008 journal, i realised most of the things are really unexpected.. well, good and bad of course. i think it's not coincidental hor, but God's hands moving in my life. (:
Above all, i thank God for teaching me how to love. i may not be the best giver now to the people in my life. i have hurt some i believe. But God just simply want me to keep on giving lo. that's when i really experienced Him deeper.. that human strength and love is limited!sometimes we even feel lazy and question God why. But the key is to keep on tapping on God's Word and God's love and grace. (:

This days of staying alone, i feel so blessed to have friends who are willing to accompany me for stayover. awww..thanks all! :D Thank you for bringing the baileys and vodka down. hohoho.. it's my first time drinking those stuffs.haha!
In every stayover, there's always great moments that we've shared.yeah, i love stayovers~

But on the other hand, i've been terrorised many times by Lizards!! trauma. it's not those brownish kind but it' s dark blue with white stripes or something.. *shivers~*
One at my bathroom. One dropped down when i opened my house door. Another one without tail n one hind leg gone,was at the kitchen basin. >.< i think i'm super terrorised by them. Now i gotta closed up the door and all the windows when i'm going out of house ah.. really scared of them. huuhuu..

Anyway, this week's been better i think.. i start to catch up with the piling school work. well, actually not a lot luh. haha XD got to meet some people up along the week, and here it is.. another weekend. :O

I finally got to catch High School Musical 3 yesterday! :DD
happyy.. hee.. some people say it's not so nice compared to the previous series. But i think this is a much bigger production lo. more songs, that's the way i like it.. (: yeah.

Ohh.. last few days my Mum found her lost ring back! Latter says it's been missing for few months already, thought she dropped it in the cab, and she was superrrr sad about it, and it's very dear to her. Hee.. before i left school she just found it under the bed! haha, funny hor..
Then she says in Indo, "perhaps God is trying to test me all these while"
yeap, i think so too.. though she had prayed for it to be found, though she had given up hope to search or to get it back from the cab driver. And there is no sign for these few months. But God has the perfect plan and timing.
It's just for us to trust in Him or not. Whether we have lost it all after we let go, though it hurts alot sometimes. But who knows about tomorrow? and who holds your fate and life?

I'm very happy i sang on stage during service this Saturday! :D
was pretty nervous when people start flooding in..but when i started praising God, it's just gladness and joy! :D now i really get the feel of it, the joy in serving God in where i can serve at. i know i may not be the best singer but i guess i shall not doubt God in putting me in this ministry.. and everything shall just come out from the inside-out (:
hee.. thank you also to the fellow singers n jo-n for all the fun and guidance that you had showered upon me n shirley (: it made my FIRST-time very memorable.hohooo..

Already the third day of school today. Quite a lot of lectures and tutorials canceled, which is quite a good thing! (; Hee.. on Monday we celebrated Melissa's birthday~ and Tuesday was good.
I think i'm still not used to the new schedule and subjects and all. One good thing is that i'm totally in 01 class now, no longer swap classes with Vivian.hahas. And omo, i know the subjects are getting tougher..

Yeap. Came back from Advance Leadership Camp on Sunday! ((:
It's my First time attending a tertiary leadership camp; indeed a privilege that i'm able to go.. Had a great time fellowshipping, with the games, and learning the Word together. The excitement to 'chase' after some of the leaders to suck as much from them. The expectancy in entering worship for God to speak. haha.
I was refreshed somehow, corrected by God, yes, yet envisioned, tired but charged up, afraid but yet have faith, in lack yet i have the source, and many more..
Though my body fails me on the last day of camp, and i can't talk much. ouch. Still, amazingly i'm able to pray during the last session of the camp. hee..

we used to quarrel quite a lot when we were younger; he is not that cheeky just bad-tempered.

But i believe God has changed him so so much inside-out! :D
i can't remember when is the last time we quarrel or fight now. heee.. the most is, we always wanna snatch and get hold at the lil panda doll~
He give in a lot, grew much in patience and controlling his anger.yup

I know he has a breakthrough in his QT with God too. haha, never skip QT for months alr! And sometimes he would try to share to my Dad of his testimonies. ahh, that i sometimes find it hard to do.. =/

I love the time when we took bus to parkway or church together, then you'll start sharing your day in school. lol.
I love those moments when we disturb one another with the dolls. XD
I love it when we lie down to rest and then we talk about all the random things. haha.
I love it when you imitate some funny actions. eyy.. haha!

Went fishing with Mag and serene yesterday at Punngol! It was very fun! My first time fishing ya know.. All along i just recall cycling at East Coast Park to Bedok jetty and see the uncles fishing, now i've experienced it myself. yay (:

i caught the first catfish! hahaha was pretty excited that it ate my bait but, we can't bring home and eat the fish luhh -.- poisonous i heard.lol.

Time seems to fly much slower today at work. Was standing at Terminal 3 outside the Ntuc there.hahas. But i realised i do enjoy observing the little kids and babies :D
haha, reminds me when i was in Secondary school where i can simply look out of my class window and see a kindergarten school downstairs. which makes me to aspire to be a kindergarten teacher as well. LOL. but not anymore okay~

Kids are just sooo carefree, child like and simple!

Just came across this song. So cool, cause it also talks about love, just yesterday CG sharing was also about love! Part of it says that when love that matters after all, everything will seem so small.

Sometimes we humans just make small things to be complicated and big. All those big hu-ha just drift apart relationships and all.
